Cookie policy
Which cookies Užvalkalai.lt uses and how you can manage your choice.
Updated 2026-06-15. A draft; review by a lawyer is recommended.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Consent is not required for cookies necessary for the website to function; for non-essential cookies, prior consent is required under EU Directive 2002/58/EC (Art. 5(3)) and the Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications.
At present Užvalkalai.lt uses only essential (cart/order) cookies, and traffic analytics (Matomo) runs without cookies (cookieless), so a separate cookie consent banner is not required. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we would ask for your prior consent.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_*, wp_woocommerce_session_* | cart and order process | essential | session / up to a few days |
| Matomo | traffic statistics (self-hosted) | analytics - cookieless, IP anonymised, "Do Not Track" respected | no cookies used |
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If essential cookies are blocked, some website functions (e.g. the cart) may not work.
Legal basis and note
Prepared on the basis of EU Directive 2002/58/EC (as amended by 2009/136/EC), Art. 5(3) - eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2002/58/oj - and the Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications (e-seimas.lrs.lt). Good practice (supervisory-authority guidance) recommends an equivalent "Accept"/"Decline" choice and recording of consent; this is not a separate article of the law. A draft; review by a lawyer is recommended.
