We sew covers to your measurements, so measuring the mattress accurately is the most important step to make sure the cover fits perfectly. Below is a simple guide on how to measure a mattress correctly (the same principle applies to a topper and a pillow).
What you will need
- A tape measure or a long ruler;
- A sheet of paper to note the measurements (in centimetres).
How to measure a mattress – 3 steps
- Width. Measure the width of the mattress (cm) at its widest point, from one edge to the other.
- Length. Measure the length of the mattress (cm) from head to foot.
- Height (thickness). Measure the height/thickness of the mattress (cm) – this matters so the cover fits deep enough and does not ride up.
Write down the three numbers in this order: width × length × height (cm). Tip: measure twice to avoid a mistake.
Non-standard size or shape?
If your mattress is a non-standard size or shape (corner, with cut-outs, for a sofa bed, a day bed or a child’s cot) – we make it individually. Just give us the exact measurements and shape, or send a sketch/photo, and we will sew it exactly for you.

How precise do I need to be when measuring?
Measure to the nearest centimetre. If in doubt, it is better to measure twice.
What if my size is between standard sizes?
Choose a size bracket that is not smaller than your mattress and enter the exact centimetres in the order note – we will sew it precisely to those. A non-standard size? Write to us.
How do I measure a topper or a pillow?
Measure a topper the same way: width × length × height (cm). A pillow – width × length (cm). We sew topper and pillow covers to order.
Which fabric should I choose?
For hot or sweaty sleepers, Linas (breathable, moisture-wicking) is a good fit; for cooler sleepers – Perlas (soft, cool to the touch). Both fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified, removable and washable.
